Avanti Campervans began with a single minivan in 2014 and previously operated as AIYRE Pacific. The family-owned business has kept compact vehicles at the centre of its offer, using modular conversions to add sleeping and camping equipment to passenger minivans.
Its operating model includes a consignment programme: qualifying owners supply vehicles, while Avanti handles conversion, insurance, bookings and maintenance. Vehicle preparers inspect and clean vans near airports. This supports a collection model built around airport areas and individually arranged handovers.
In 2026, Avanti acquired the Escape name and trademark and relaunched that brand after the original Escape business closed in November 2025 and its fleet was sold. The appeal is a simple vehicle that covers the essentials of sleeping and cooking while leaving much of daily life outside. Avanti’s offer is coherent for two adults who want to spend their time moving between campsites without taking a larger motorhome. Choosing the van is relatively straightforward; choosing the booking arrangements needs more care, because the sales channel can affect how the rental works.

- A useful kit is already included.Bedding, towels, cookware, chairs and a canopy reduce the amount of camping equipment a fly-in traveller needs to bring or buy. The kit supports the outdoor setup as a whole, including somewhere to cook and sit.

Avanti’s range consists of two minivan conversions with a shared camping setup and a different approach to cooking. The Caravan supplies a stove, cookware and a folding table without a kitchen pull-out. The Voyager adds a pull-out kitchen and work surface. Both are outdoor cooking arrangements.
The sleeping setup includes a 48 × 72 inch memory-foam bed, privacy covers and bedding. Using the rear travel seats requires folding the bed away, so seating and sleeping are different configurations of the same space. Four belted seats do not turn either category into a four-person sleeper.
Food storage uses a 25–28 quart ice cooler. USB and 12V power are standard; 110V and USB-C are available on some vans. These are compact camping conversions with portable facilities: the solar shower is used outside, and neither category has an indoor bathroom.
