It has developed into a network combining licensed agencies with selected partners operating under the Blacksheep Friend label.

The business behind an individual rental is the company named on the invoice and rental conditions. Partner locations include Montréal, Roscommon, Dublin South and Athens. Indicative daily prices	Direct category prices start at EUR59 per rental day for the Mini Caddy, EUR79 for the California T6.1 and EUR89 for the Explorer 4 Pop-up. These starting amounts are not quotes for selected dates or a pickup location.
Protection upgrade	In the direct protection comparison, Confort costs EUR29 per rental day and reduces the excess to EUR600 per instance of covered damage. Misuse, excluded damage and other contractual liabilities are not covered by that figure.
Card hold	The direct protection options require a EUR2,500 hold with Standard or Confort and EUR1,500 with Allin, using Mastercard or Visa. This is refundable security, not a rental charge or a statement of the maximum possible liability.
Hold release	Under the direct rental terms, the hold may remain for up to 15 days after return. After an accident, retention can continue while responsibility and the repair estimate are established.
Payment	The direct booking conditions require a 50% advance to validate the reservation. The general rental terms reject debit cards; a foreign-issued payment card must meet their international-card requirement.
Minimum stay	The usual minimum is two days. Some agencies require seven days in July and August.
Changes and unused days	The direct general terms describe a 12-month network credit for a modification or postponement made more than 48 hours before departure; that credit is not refundable in cash. Their cancellation provisions give no credit or refund within 48 hours, charge the full price for a no-show and do not refund voluntarily unused days.
Return location	Ordinary rentals return to the same agency. Special relocation offers are a separate arrangement.
Licence and documents	The direct general terms require the original valid licence and identity document at collection. They specify a photo licence in French or an official translation; an international driving permit must accompany the national licence.
Cooking and outdoor equipment	Basic cooking utensils and an outdoor table and seating are included, with the kit varying by agency.
Bedding	Bedding is not generally included under the standard FAQ arrangements. The Athens Explorer – CC 4+2 specifically includes sheets and pillows.
Pets	Lyon and Geneva accept pets when the renter cleans the vehicle. Montréal requires approval for a small dog, the Irish partners accept pets, and Athens prohibits them.
Cleaning on return	The direct general terms specify EUR150 including tax for an unclean return and a separate EUR150 including tax for an unemptied or unclean chemical toilet. These are conditional return charges.
Fuel on return	Under the direct terms, missing fuel is charged at the prevailing fuel price, plus a EUR20 refuelling service charge including tax.
Assistance	Under Blacksheep's direct general rental terms, 24-hour assistance is available with prior authorization.
Damage administration	The direct terms provide for an administration charge of 15% of the repair amount including tax, and immobilization charged at the applicable daily rental tariff. These are conditional liabilities, not additions to every rental.

How airport collection works

Airport-labelled locations use different collection arrangements. At Paris Orly and Charles de Gaulle, the vehicle is delivered to the specified airport parking area, with delivery offered daily from 08:00 to 21:00 and airport parking payable. Geneva Airport collection is at Ornex on the French side of the border; an optional airport transfer costs EUR40 for the return journey.

Dublin South is in Greystones, rather than at Dublin Airport. The Irish partners offer a possible airport shuttle: their locations are stated as 42 km from the airport for Dublin South and 144 km for Roscommon. Montréal collection is by appointment and does not include airport or train-station delivery.

Roof tents for your own car

The standalone Tente de toit Duo sleeps two; Tente de toit Quatro accommodates three to four. These products hire out the tent rather than a vehicle. Your car needs existing approved transverse roof bars rated above 75 kg, and collection and return take place during opening hours so staff can help with fitting.

A separate option for longer rentals

The French long-term offer advertises three-month rentals, with examples observed in September 2026 starting at EUR899 per month for a Ford Copa, EUR949 for a California or Hanroad, and EUR999 for a Campeo. These are advertised starting amounts for the separate long-term offer, rather than confirmed quotes for a particular departure.

Its distance allowance is 4,500 km for three months, increasing by 1,500 km for each additional month to 18,000 km over 12 months. Extra distance is arranged on request. Neither the monthly pricing nor that mileage allowance describes an ordinary holiday rental.
