The practical trade-off is the amount of planning and money required before departure: the hire balance is due in advance, collection requires a separate security deposit, and some everyday camping equipment is an extra. The vehicle category is therefore only part of the comparison; the equipment needed for the trip and the cash available at collection also matter.

Camperline’s seven-category range combines three panel-van campers with four larger motorhome categories. The vans retain a kitchen, heating and a bathroom inside the vehicle; moving up to the motorhomes brings different sleeping arrangements, a larger fridge and a separate shower.
Among the vans, CLASSE 0 has one double bed, while CLASSE I VAN uses upper and lower doubles. CLASSE II VAN Automática adds an automatic transmission and a layout with two doubles and a single bed.
CLASSE I SG is the four-person low-profile option, with an electrically operated double bed and a convertible dinette. For larger groups, CLASSE II PS combines an electrically operated double, a dinette bed and bunks. CLASSE II DKG uses an overcab double alongside a dinette bed and bunks, while CLASSE III PT has an electrically operated double, a dinette bed and a rear double. The difference is useful for groups deciding who will share a bed and which living areas must be converted at night.
The larger categories have 180-litre fridges, compared with 65 litres in CLASSE 0 and 95 litres in the other vans. Living-area air conditioning is a specific feature of CLASSE II PS.
