Campilider keeps the main vehicle choice relatively simple: three categories separate the sleeping capacities, while bathroom and cooking facilities run through the range. Its offer rewards a settled travel plan. There is room to cover distance without a mileage allowance shaping each day's driving, but less flexibility to change the starting point, return time or booking at short notice.
The distinction between fitted equipment and personal holiday kit matters here. A vehicle can have the facilities needed for a trip while bedding, utensils and outdoor furniture still add to the bill. Comparing the complete hire cost is therefore more useful than comparing the category price alone.
Good points
- Mileage does not ration the trip.Unlimited mileage is included in direct rentals. That removes a distance-based surcharge from the core hire calculation, even when the journey extends beyond a short stay near the pickup depot.
- Bathroom facilities across the range.Comfort, Family and Plus all have a toilet, a separate indoor shower, hot water and central heating. The smaller sleeping-capacity category retains those facilities rather than making them a reason to move up the range.

- The journey must return to its starting depot.A direct rental cannot run one way between Ovar and Faro. That constraint matters when flights or travel plans would otherwise favour arriving in one part of Portugal and leaving from the other.
- Bedding adds up with party size.The direct bedding extra costs EUR 50 per person per rental. For seven people, that is EUR 350 before adding any kitchen kit, outdoor furniture or transfers.

Family combines two doubles with a converted dinette single. Plus adds bunk beds, but its maximum capacity also depends on using the dining area for sleeping and includes a child-sized place. Those arrangements deserve particular attention for a group of adults or anyone who wants to leave the dining area available overnight.
Each category has a cooker, fridge/freezer, hot and cold water and central heating. Listed inclusions also cover gas bottles, an electric cable, toilet chemicals, cleaning tools, an awning and a bicycle rack. Bedding, kitchen utensils and outdoor furniture are separate extras. No. Direct bookings require return to the same depot used for collection. Campilider has an Ovar base serving the Porto area and a Faro base, but does not offer an Ovar–Faro one-way rental.
Can seven adults use Class Plus?
The category has seven travel seats, but its seven sleeping places include a child-sized place. The bed arrangement should therefore not be treated as seven full adult sleeping places.
Will Campilider supply the exact model shown?
The model and layout shown for a category are examples. The allocated motorhome can change with the fleet, while the category's sleeping capacity is retained.
Can Campilider collect us from the airport?
It offers a transfer to the depot rather than pickup at an airport rental desk. The direct prices are EUR 70 each way in the Porto area and EUR 40 each way in Faro for up to five people. A larger party needs its transfer arrangements agreed separately.
Are bedding and kitchen utensils included with the motorhome?
