Escape Campervans rents converted minivans in the United States. The brand relaunched in 2026 following its acquisition by Avanti Campervans, with a different vehicle range and a self-managed pickup model.
Earlier company history: The former business traces its beginnings to Lawndale, California, in 2009, according to its founder. That operator ceased trading in November 2025 and retired its fleet. Escape describes the 2026 relaunch as a new company with a new fleet.

The two-category range keeps the vehicle choice relatively straightforward, with the kitchen arrangement doing more to distinguish the options than the accommodation. Escape’s offer is most convincing when outdoor living is part of the plan: it puts the basic overnight setup in the van, but leaves much of the daily camping routine outside. The appeal is simplicity, with limited scope to move toward a more self-contained layout.

The current fleet consists of passenger minivans with a folding bed and storage beneath the platform. Voyager is based on a Chrysler Pacifica, Voyager or similar vehicle, with advertised model years from 2022 to 2026. Caravan uses a Dodge Grand Caravan from the 2017–2020 range. These are category descriptions, not guarantees of a particular model year or individual van.
The kitchen is the clearest practical difference. Voyager has a module that pulls out from the rear, keeping the cooking setup attached to the vehicle. Caravan supplies a portable kit with a folding table, allowing the cooking area to be set up separately. Neither has a fixed indoor kitchen.
The mattress measures 48 × 72 inches, approximately 122 × 183 cm. Folding the bed restores use of the second seating row. Although both categories carry four people, only two sleep in the van; additional passengers need their own sleeping arrangement outside it.

Can four people sleep in an Escape campervan?
No. Voyager and Caravan each have four travel seats but a bed for two. Groups of more than two need to arrange separate sleeping accommodation for the additional passengers.
Do Escape’s vans have a toilet or shower?
Neither current category has an interior toilet or a fixed indoor shower. The included shower is a portable solar camping shower, so it does not provide an enclosed bathroom in the van.
