Company overview
Four Seasons RV Rentals is a division of Fraserway RV LP. James Epp founded the brand in 2006 with 50 vehicles, creating an economy-focused rental business within a family group whose history began in 1969. Those are two different starting points: Four Seasons has its own rental identity and vehicle range.
The company takes bookings directly and through travel agencies and tour operators. Its network spans British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia. Shared preparation resources and support services connect it with Fraserway, but the wider group's locations and vehicles do not all belong to the Four Seasons offer.

Four Seasons makes the most sense when the vehicle choice and the trip budget are considered together. The range gives couples and families meaningful choices in living space, while its optional equipment and protection packages let renters decide how much to add. The economy positioning is a starting point for comparison, rather than proof that the finished booking will cost less: distance, equipment, transfers and the chosen level of damage protection all affect the result.
Planning matters as much as choosing the RV. The service is organised around outlying depots, designated hotel transfers and scheduled handovers. That arrangement is workable for a planned holiday, but less forgiving of a tight flight connection or a trip that depends on a particular vehicle layout and unrestricted remote travel.
Good points
- A family option between compact and largest.C-Medium and C-Large both sleep five and have six travel seat belts. The larger category adds a slide-out rather than another sleeping place, so extra living space does not require moving straight to C-XLarge.
- An equipment package that accounts for children.On direct bookings, children aged 12 and under receive the full convenience kit free when every adult pays for one. For a family needing bedding and cooking equipment, that is a useful distinction from a charge applied equally to every traveller.
- Help before the handover.Vehicle manuals, tours and preparation videos allow renters to get familiar with the equipment before collecting it. A personal demonstration at pickup then covers the vehicle being handed over.
Things to consider
- The campervan is not an option for a child seat.Four Seasons does not allow infant seats, child seats or boosters in either Van Conversion or C-Small. A compact vehicle with spare sleeping or belted capacity therefore does not automatically work for a family with young children.
- A long flight means a hotel night first.A flight journey of more than six hours, including connections, rules out collecting and departing in the RV on arrival day. This is a material part of the trip schedule, especially for a short rental.
- Replacement support has geographical limits.Under the direct CDR terms, a replacement for an immobilised RV after covered damage is subject to delivery-area and vehicle restrictions. Dispatch within 24 hours is not a promise of arrival within that time, and the replacement commitment does not cover every vehicle in remote northern regions.

The range centres on self-contained campervans and Class C motorhomes, with five named size formats and a separate ROF allocation category. All six categories have automatic transmission. The main choices are how much sleeping and living space to carry, whether a permanent rear bed matters, and how much certainty is needed about the layout.
Van Conversion sleeps two and has four travel seat belts. Its sofa converts into the bed, and it has a toilet with an outdoor shower. A two-bike rack is included, with a combined maximum load of 35 kg. C-Small moves to a Class C layout with an overcab bed and a convertible dinette, sleeping three with four travel seat belts. It has no permanent rear bed; its indoor washing arrangement should not be mistaken for a guaranteed separate shower cubicle.
C-Medium adds a rear bed to the overcab and dinette arrangement, plus a separate shower. It sleeps five, has six travel seat belts and includes a generator and solar equipment. C-Large retains that five-person sleeping capacity and six-belt travel capacity while adding a slide-out. C-XLarge sleeps six and adds a sofa to the sleeping arrangements, together with a rear bedroom and slide-out. Sleeping capacity alone does not establish the permitted travelling party.
ROF is booked as an allocation category, with the layout assigned at collection. Its advertised limit is four sleepers and four travel seat belts. The preparation material covers several possible layouts, but those layouts are not individually selectable models and their technical capacities do not increase the four-person booking limit. Refrigerator arrangements and other equipment can differ between the assigned vehicles.
Child-seat compatibility needs a separate decision from bed count. C-Medium and C-Large provide tether-equipped positions, with suitability depending on the restraint and assigned vehicle. ROF allows one forward-facing child seat and does not accept an infant seat or booster. For C-XLarge, the seating arrangement and the particular restraint need to be confirmed together before choosing it for children.

Is Four Seasons RV Rentals the same company as Fraserway?
Four Seasons is a division of Fraserway RV LP, with its own rental brand and range. A Fraserway depot or vehicle is not automatically part of the Four Seasons offer: this brand has five Canadian pickup bases.
Can I collect a Four Seasons RV in central Vancouver or Toronto?
The Vancouver-labelled base is in Abbotsford, and the Toronto-labelled base is in Cookstown. Hotel transfers use designated airport hotels in those two markets, rather than providing collection from any city-centre address.
Can I choose the exact motorhome when booking ROF?
No. The layout is allocated at pickup. The booking category has a maximum sleeping capacity of four, even though some vehicles described in the preparation manuals have more beds. Choose a named size category if its particular living arrangement matters to the trip.
Which Four Seasons vehicles can take a child seat?
C-Medium and C-Large have tether-equipped seating positions; the particular restraint and assigned vehicle must be matched. ROF accepts one forward-facing child seat, but no infant seat or booster. Van Conversion and C-Small do not accept child restraints. C-XLarge requires confirmation of the seating arrangement and restraint together; its six sleeping places are not a child-seat allowance.
Can I return the RV to a different Four Seasons base?
Yes, on an accepted one-way booking. The published direct-booking routes link Abbotsford with the two Alberta bases, Calgary with Edmonton, and Toronto with Halifax. Charges depend on direction, and a route appearing in a search selector does not establish availability.
Can I collect the RV straight after an overseas flight?
Not if the total flight journey takes more than six hours, including connections. Four Seasons requires the first night in a hotel before departing in the RV, so the rental should start the following day or later.
Does Family Saver include unlimited kilometres?
No. It combines preparation, convenience kits and CDR protection. Distance is separate, and the extra CDW option is also excluded. The direct unlimited-kilometre option has a CAD 1,386 minimum charge before tax, which matters even on a rental shorter than 14 nights.
Can I drive a Four Seasons campervan to Yukon or Newfoundland?
Van Conversion is prohibited in Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Newfoundland and Labrador. Permission to travel in Canada generally does not override these category-specific exclusions.
Will a replacement RV arrive within 24 hours if mine is immobilised?
The direct CDR commitment for covered damage concerns dispatch within 24 hours, not arrival. Delivery is limited to a province or state adjoining the pickup province, and there is no replacement obligation for Van Conversion, C-Large or vehicles over 26 feet in Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Newfoundland, Labrador or Alaska. A fault in equipment such as the air conditioning or refrigerator does not automatically entitle the renter to a replacement RV.
