Meridian RV combines vehicle rental with the sales, parts and repair services of an RV dealership. The Canadian family business was incorporated as Meridian Mobile Mfg. Ltd. in 1967 and became Meridian RV Mfg. Ltd. in 1995.
Rentals are collected in Port Coquitlam, in the Vancouver area. Customers can make a direct inquiry, while a separate channel serves agents and wholesalers. The motorhome offer sits alongside a travel-trailer rental with its own minimum duration and towing requirements.

Meridian’s offer rewards a settled plan. There is a useful choice of living arrangements, but the decision extends well beyond choosing a vehicle: arrival timing, protection and the season all affect how the rental works. It is a more natural fit for a carefully arranged holiday than a short, spontaneous escape.
The most important trade-off is between a substantial vehicle handover and more limited remedies once the trip is under way. Understanding which failures qualify for help matters as much as the equipment fitted to the motorhome.

- Different ways to arrange the living space.A sofa-bed van, a Class C without a slide-out and twin beds that convert to a king give renters meaningful layout choices. The differences concern how the vehicle is used day to day, not simply its category name.
- Room in the schedule for vehicle collection.The 1½–2-hour handover makes orientation a substantial part of pickup. That is useful for renters who want time with the vehicle before setting off.
Things to consider
- Limited remedies for accessory failures.On C-MED, C-LG and C-SM rentals, complimentary equipment such as an awning, TV, camera or generator may receive neither an on-road repair nor a refund if it fails. A feature being fitted does not make it something to rely on without a backup plan.
- Early returns and a separate transfer.Vehicle returns run from 08:30 to 10:00 at Port Coquitlam. The paid Vancouver/YVR transfer carries at most four passengers per vehicle, so a larger party has an additional transport arrangement to make.
- Cold weather can change the vehicle’s usefulness.A winterized motorhome has no usable freshwater system or toilet. For an April or October trip, that affects the type of stay the vehicle can support, even if the chosen category normally has a bathroom.

Meridian’s motorhome range combines a van-based two-berth option with four Class C categories, while the travel trailer caters for a separate kind of rental.
The B-Deluxe uses a RAM ProMaster van and an expanding sofa bed. At 21 ft 1 in, it is shorter than the 24 ft 1 in C-MED, whose sleeping areas are arranged around a rear bed, cab-over bed and dinette. The C-MED has neither a slide-out nor a sofa; its layout keeps those functions within the main body of the vehicle.
The 26 ft 5 in C-MED Plus has twin beds that convert to a king, as well as a cab-over bed. C-SM also uses a twin-to-king arrangement and adds a convection microwave/air fryer and a tankless water heater. These are useful distinctions when choosing between layouts rather than assuming that the letters in the category name settle the choice.
C-LG brings together a queen bed, cab-over area, jackknife sofa and dinette, with an oven and microwave for cooking. Its seven travel seats should not be treated as a confirmed count of beds. For children, C-MED and C-LG each specify one child-seat position; the general range of zero to two positions depends on the actual model.
The Travel Trailer has bunk beds, a slide-out, a fridge/freezer, microwave and propane stove, but no oven, generator or TV. At approximately 30 ft long, it requires a suitable tow vehicle and a rental of at least 30 nights. It is a different proposition from collecting a self-powered motorhome for a week.

Can I collect a Meridian motorhome at Vancouver airport?
Collection is at 1690 Coast Meridian Rd in Port Coquitlam. Meridian offers a paid Vancouver/YVR transfer, but that service does not make the airport a rental station. Each transfer vehicle takes at most four passengers, with no child seats supplied.
Can I pick up the motorhome on the day I arrive from overseas?
No. Meridian requires overseas arrivals to spend one night in a hotel before motorhome collection. Pickup is by appointment between 11:00 and 15:00, followed by a handover lasting about 1½–2 hours; the rental department is closed on Sundays and holidays.
Which Meridian motorhomes have four travel seats and four or more sleeping places?
C-MED Plus has four travel seats and sleeps four. C-MED sleeps five and has four or five travel seats, depending on the model. The B-Deluxe has four travel seats but sleeps only two, so seat count alone does not establish room for an overnight group.
Can a family needing two child seats book any Meridian motorhome?
No. The model-dependent allowance ranges from zero to two, and C-MED and C-LG each specify only one child-seat position. A two-seat requirement therefore needs a suitable assigned model; the general maximum is not a promise for every category. Meridian does not install the seats.
Does Meridian’s CDR plan remove the security payment?
No. For direct motorhome rentals, CDR reduces the required security payment and the covered-damage deductible, but neither disappears. The plan is charged per day, the deductible applies per occurrence plus taxes, and exclusions still apply. The plan charge, conditionally refundable security payment and potential damage liability remain separate obligations.
Can I take a Meridian motorhome into the US?

Can I rent Meridian’s travel trailer for a week?
No. The trailer has a 30-night minimum and requires your own suitable tow vehicle. The requirements include a tow rating of at least 7,600 lb, a brake controller and a class 4/5 hitch up to 10,000 lb. The motorhome’s seven-night minimum does not apply to it.
Will Meridian repair a failed generator during my trip?
