Staycation Scotland is a family-run Scottish rental company established in 2020. It designs and converts campervans as well as hiring them out, giving individual vehicles their own names and layouts. The range includes VW Transporters, larger VW Crafters and Mercedes Sprinters.
The business operates under Staycation Scotland Ltd. It announced a relationship with Kombi Campers in 2025, while Four Seasons Campers also trades under Staycation Scotland Ltd. Those connections do not make the different brands’ vehicles or rental conditions interchangeable.

- Useful equipment is already packed.Kitchenware, a kettle, coffee equipment, a table and four chairs are included. These cover much of the everyday cooking and sitting-out kit that would otherwise need to be brought or bought separately.

Staycation Scotland’s range centres on pop-top campervans, with a smaller selection of longer conversions for different sleeping and bathroom arrangements.
The standard Transporters are about 4.89 metres long and use two double sleeping areas, including the roof space. Their habitation equipment includes induction cooking and lithium batteries. This describes the living equipment, not an electric drivetrain. Both manual and automatic choices are available within the range, and Tia’s four travel seats distinguish it from the five-seat specification of several other Transporters.
Bathroom requirements make Lulu and Remi particularly worth examining. Lulu combines a fixed double bed and roof sleeping space with a toilet cubicle and small indoor shower. Remi has enclosed toilet and shower facilities, a king-size bed and a convertible single. It is also the longest of these examples at about 6.84 metres, compared with Lulu’s roughly 5.99 metres.
The Sprinter conversions Lyla and Frida take a different approach, with fixed double beds, gas cooking and pull-out portable toilets. Their dining areas include child-size bed arrangements. For a party of three, confirm the sleeping arrangement for the assigned van before booking.
